Hang Fan
Assistant Professor
Profile
Hang Fan is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Economics and Management, North China Electric Power University. He is an awardee of the 10th Young Talent Support Program of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE). He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University and completed his joint postdoctoral training at the PBC School of Finance and the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences, Tsinghua University. He is also a CFA charterholder. His research focuses on interdisciplinary studies at the intersection of electrical engineering, artificial intelligence, and finance. He has led and participated in more than 10 research and technology projects related to power grids and artificial intelligence, published over 40 papers in leading journals, and been granted 8 invention patents. He has also contributed to three monographs on the data economy. His honors include the Second Prize in the National Artificial Intelligence Application Scenario Innovation Challenge, the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from State Grid Shanghai Municipal Electric Power Company, the National Scholarship, and the Special-Class Scholarship in Data Science from Tsinghua University.
